Courteney Cox, the star of the TV series Friends and Scream movie, who attracts attention with her funny posts, shared a throwback photo from Scream’s fifth sequel on her Instagram account and gave an update about the film and remembered Wes Craven, the director of the original film.
The original “Scream” movie had a huge box office success after its release at Christmas time in 1996 and grossed over $ 173 million worldwide with its diverse plot that includes both humor and thriller.
After 25 years, the actors Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox, who appeared in the original film, came together again in the fifth movie of the series and completed the filming.
On Thursday, Courteney Cox took Instagram to share a photo of herself with the late Wes Craven on the set of Scream in 1996. She announced to her followers that the set ended and she was very happy to be with an incredible new cast and crew after many years. Courteney Cox said that Wes would be proud to see the new legacy.

“Scream just wrapped. This all started 25 years ago directed by the beloved Wes Craven. Walking back on the set 25 years later, I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I found was an incredible new cast and two uber talented directors. I’m sure Wes will be so proud. Thank you @kevwilliamson for creating this legacy.”
The film will continue to appear under the name of the original “Scream” and is planned to be released in January 2022.
